💼 How Rental Fees Are Calculated

• Short-Term Rental (3 Days)
  5% of the item’s listed selling price (min $500)
• Monthly Rental (1 Month)
  10% of the item’s listed selling price (min $1000)
• Extended Rental (2 Months)
  15% of the item’s listed selling price (min $1000)

🛡️ Deposit Policy

• DIAMOND ICQ Members:
  Member points are used as a deposit for renting any jewellery.
• Non-Members:
  A "Credit Card Hold" (pre-authorisation) equivalent to the original retail price of the item is required as a deposit. This operation only freezes your credit limit; no funds will be deducted, and it will not appear on your monthly statement. Once the item is returned in good condition, the pre-authorisation will be fully and automatically released.

💰 Deposit Refund

• All pre-authorisations or deposits will be fully released or refunded within 1 working day after the item is returned in good condition.

📦 Delivery, Collection & Return

Collection & Delivery

• All items are available for in-store collection
• Courier delivery is available for items priced below HKD $30,000, subject to sufficient Member Points
• Items priced HKD $30,000 and above are for in-store collection only

Return

• All items may be returned in-store
• Courier return is available only for eligible items below HKD $30,000 and must be returned using the original DIAMOND ICQ packaging

📅 Advance Booking & Availability

• Items may be reserved up to 90 days in advance
• DIAMOND ICQ will make every reasonable effort to fulfil your selected reservation
• If an item becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be:
• Notified as soon as practicable, and
• Offered a similar or alternative item where possible
• Or allowed to select another item
• Or cancel the booking without penalty

↩️ Cancellation

Members

• Complimentary cancellation up to 48 hours prior
• Within 48 hours: 20% rental fee applies
• Eligible amounts returned to Wallet Credit

Non-Members

• More than 48 hours: non-refundable, transferable to a future booking
• Within 48 hours: 20% rental fee applies; remaining balance non-refundable but transferable to a future booking

⏰ Late Return Policy

• 3-Day Rental (Late) → Converts to 1-month rental
• 1-Month Rental (Late) → Converts to 2-month rental
• 2-Month Rental (Late) → Item is deemed purchased in full

💎 Damage, Loss & Tampering Policy

• Normal Wear (No Charge)
  Minor signs of wear from careful use, such as light surface scratches or natural strap creasing, excluding any damage or alteration to the centre stone.
• Minor Damage
  Superficial damage that does not affect structure or function.
• Fixed repair/refurbishment fee from HKD $500, depending on the item.
• Centre Stone Damage
  Any damage to the centre stone, including but not limited to chipping, cracking, scratching, or loss, will incur cost responsibility. The amount will be assessed based on replacement cost and/or the retail price of the centre stone.
• Severe or Functional Damage
  Includes damage affecting structure, stones, safety, or functionality.
• Repair costs will be charged where possible, or
• The item will be deemed purchased at full retail price if repair is not feasible.
• Tampering
  Any third-party cleaning, polishing, resizing, servicing, opening, or repair is strictly prohibited.
• The rental agreement will be void, and
• The item will be deemed purchased at full retail price.
• Inspection & Reporting
• Any concerns must be reported within 12 hours of receipt
• Damage assessments are conducted by DIAMOND ICQ professionals, based on documented inspection records

🧾 Flexible Rental Arrangement

In-Store Collection

• A temporary credit card authorisation will be placed for the shortfall amount
• This is an authorisation only and will not be charged

Courier Delivery

• The shortfall must be settled in advance by:
• Temporary credit card authorisation in-store, or
• FPS transfer for the applicable amount
